This year, Grand Master Haskell R. Vest, Jr., has selected the Masonic Outreach Program as his official Grand Master’s Charity. Originally established in 1992 in the wake of Hurricane Andrew’s devastation in South Florida, the program was reintroduced and formally approved by the Craft in 2023 to provide direct, compassionate relief to Florida Masons and their ladies when they need it most.
The Outreach Program goes beyond traditional aid. It fills critical gaps in care by assisting Brothers and ladies who:
• Cannot afford essential medicines
• Require in-home health services
• Face financial hardship due to short-term injuries or illnesses that prevent them from working
By supporting recovery in the comfort of their own homes or care facilities, the program restores dignity, eases suffering, and strengthens the bonds of Masonic Brotherhood and Sisterhood across the entire state of Florida.
In addition, The Grand Lodge of Florida proudly sponsors three premier youth organizations: DeMolay International, Job’s Daughters International, and the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. These groups develop the next generation of leaders through community service, character building, and the living practice of Masonic values. Supporting these youth programs is an investment in the future of our Fraternity, our communities, and the enduring legacy of our principles.
Together, the Masonic Outreach Program and our youth initiatives represent a powerful dual commitment: caring for our members today while securing a vibrant Masonic future for tomorrow.
